Taylor Swift is getting engaged soon
Taylor Swift and boyfriend Travis Kelce are getting engaged soon, Page Six reports.
A source close to Kelce told Page Six that the Kansas City Chiefs star plans to get down on one knee and propose to Taylor, putting an end to speculation about the couple’s future.
“The engagement is happening soon,” the source said.
There has been some speculation in recent days that the couple is, in fact, engaged. On Thursday night, at a concert by country music star Morgan Wallen in Kansas City, a Page Six source said that the wife of a high-ranking Chiefs executive told friends in a room that Travis — the team’s star offensive lineman — and Swift were engaged. It’s unclear whether that was a slip of the tongue or if the executive’s wife was simply repeating an online rumor. However, Kelce’s rep denied the engagement of the star couple on Friday.
Page Six sources previously reported that Taylor and Travis are planning to get engaged this summer after a period of courtship. Throughout 2023, Taylor has been touring the world with the Eras Tour and Kelce has been a regular at shows, even joining her on stage.
Taylor is currently in Europe and will take a break from performing in August. According to Page Six sources, Taylor will spend a lot of time in Kansas City until she hits the road again in October. Taylor Swift will wrap up her hugely successful tour on December 8 in Vancouver.
Meanwhile, Travis Kelce has reportedly returned to work to train for the upcoming NFL season with his team.
Since going public with her relationship last year, Taylor has made no secret of her relationship with Travis. The successful American singer has even shown her affection for her boyfriend whenever possible. This is quite a different move from the way Taylor has treated her past relationships.
Because of the passionate way she shows her affection in her current relationship, Taylor has been constantly surrounded by rumors about her engagement. However, she has never spoken out about any of these rumors. There is also speculation that Taylor may decide to get married soon because she has reached a successful career at the moment and a sweet ending in her love story would be the perfect ending for Taylor.
