Man who threatened Taylor Swift and her boyfriend arrested
Police arrested a man who threatened Taylor Swift and her boyfriend when he tried to attend her concert.
According to Deadline, the American man was detained by police at the ticket control gate of The Eras Tours concert in Gelsenirchen on July 17. Previously, the event organizers discovered the stalking and threatening behavior of the star couple on social media and reported it to the authorities, asking them to intervene. Police confirmed that Taylor Swift and her boyfriend were not in any danger due to the situation.
Taylor Swift has been in trouble for stalking her many times. In early February, her lawyers asked Jack Sweeney, a 21-year-old student, to stop following her and other celebrities on private flights. He was accused of harassment, revealing personal information, and causing “direct, irreparable physical and mental harm” to the singer and her family.
The singer just completed three shows in Gelsenkirchen, attracting 60,000 spectators each. Taylor Swift will soon perform four concerts in two other German cities – Hamburg and Munich, before concluding her European tour at the end of August. Her billion-dollar tour will then return to the US and Canada, with 152 shows scheduled for the end of December.
