Taylor Swift earned more than 17 million USD for 1 night of The Eras Tour, the total tour revenue reached a terrifying number!

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour is coming to an end after 2 years of “sweeping” the world!

If you talk about the most influential artist tour in the world right now, 100% of the answers you will receive will be Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour. Starting in March 2023, The Eras Tour has truly “swept” the world over the past 2 years, every city it has passed through has become a big festival for the whole community.

Not only is it an extremely successful tour of Taylor Swift, The Eras Tour has contributed to redefining the concert-going experience, creating a huge economic and tourism boost in each location it has passed through. Variety recently published a long article about The Eras Tour, in which there were detailed investigations into the final total revenue that Taylor Swift will achieve after ending this lifetime tour in December this year in Vancouver (Canada).

Variety said that although Taylor Swift and her team confirmed that they will not publicly disclose revenue and ticket sales figures for The Eras Tour, one thing is certain: this is the most successful tour of all time. Whatever the statistics, Taylor Swift has certainly surpassed the $1 billion mark. Billboard calculated the total cumulative revenue of about $900 million for the shows up to the end of 2023 and surpassed the $1 billion mark after the tour resumed in April 2024. Pollstar estimated that she had surpassed $1 billion by the end of last year.

Regardless of the estimate, it took Taylor Swift less than a year to break the previous record of $939.1 million achieved by Elton John with the Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour over nearly three years.

A source close to the production team of The Eras Tour confirmed to Variety that the average revenue of a show is around $14-17 million, meaning that Taylor Swift earns between $14-17 million per show. Notably, this figure does not include revenue from the “black market” of reselling tickets through platforms like Vivid Seats or StubHub, which are often marked up many times over the original price.

With this average revenue figure, when The Eras Tour ends, the total revenue from tickets that Taylor Swift earns can reach the milestone of $2-2.5 billion, an “unprecedented” number in music history. Not to mention the hundreds of millions of dollars in genuine merchandise sales at performance venues. Not stopping there is also the 267.1 million USD worldwide for the film about The Eras Tour.

Taylor Swift did not let down music and music did not let her down when the female artist born in 1989 is the richest person in the world whose fortune comes entirely from making music and performing. And perhaps after The Eras Tour, it will be a long time before humanity witnesses a tour with such a terrible influence!
