5 Top Bedrooms Of The Rich and Famous

If MTV Cribs has taught us one thing, it’s that the rich and famous have homes and bedrooms beyond our wildest dreams.

From panoramic views of Bel-Air, California, to walk-in swimming pools and saunas, nothing is off-limits when you have so much money.

While we mere mortals can only dream of such things, glamorous bedrooms are an interesting footnote in the lives of the rich and famous, revealing their interior design tastes, which may very well match your own.

Below, we’ve picked five top bedrooms of the rich and famous that aren’t so outlandish that you can’t replicate them with cheaper products.

Let’s jump in!

Marisa Tomei

Marisa Tomei’s bedroom is a beautiful interpretation of the eclectic style, merging elements of 90s urban, mid-century modern, and contemporary styles. The centrepiece is a giant fiddle leaf fig tree, happily living in the corner of the room.

The bedroom has two 1940s pink fabric chairs, purple and charcoal walls, and cream and off-white furnishings, including a rug and curtains. Using cream and off-white helps balance the dark charcoal feature wall.

Metallic elements like a stunning brass lampshade, silver art frames, and a glass art fixture inject a dose of glam, helping lift the darker colours with small reflections. A St. Laurent marble fireplace finishes off the luxurious vibe.

Ralph Lauren’s bedroom is a tropical feast, with jungle houseplants, wicker furniture, natural wooden flooring, and white walls. The large windows flood the room with light while shiny wooden flooring reflects it, creating a sense of space.

The furniture is a mixture of wicker, white wood, and darker wood, with a white poster bed furnished with white netting for more airiness.

Natural wood is the overriding theme in Ralph Lauren’s bedroom, providing a welcome escape from the city and the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Pops of green and white as a secondary colour give the space a rustic yet coastal vibe.

Cindy Crawford

Cindy Crawford’s bedroom is a traditional delight with a log fireplace, chunky curtains, walnut furniture, and ceiling panels. She adores the homely look of the 80s and 90s but prefers modern neutral colours.

Her bed is a standard frame with a wooden headboard, furnished with textured white bedding and an antique throw – nothing fancy. The tufted chaise longue and stone fireplace are more prominent focal points in this traditional space.

If you like this interior style, you can replicate it with dark wooden furniture, a cream/off-white colour scheme, and pops of maroon/burgundy.

Lovers of yellow will love Johnathan Adler’s bedroom. Yellow wraparound walls, white net curtains, and grey carpeting give it a positive and homely vibe, while an impressive chrome bed creates a focal point like no other.

The Paul Evans chrome bed is a stunning piece of furniture, comprising a cube made from chromed aluminium. It costs around £30,000!

The bedroom style is contemporary with a flash of retro, with white and yellow décor and a large dollar replica coin above the bed head. It’s a beautiful bedroom and the perfect place to wake up in Palm Beach, Florida.

Emmy Rossum

Emmy Rossum’s bedroom perfectly blends contemporary and traditional interior styles with a modern colour scheme and period furniture.

The walls are painted in Farrow & Ball’s Parma Gray (curiously, an eggshell blue) with a white ceiling, giving the bedroom a modern vibe, yet the furniture is dark wood and vintage, creating a sense of class and sophistication.

We adore the blue/cream patterned rug (made by Stark) and wall cladding, adding depth to the paint. Silver curtains and cream bedding soften and extend the space from the floor to the ceiling, making the room look taller.
