158th champion in League of Legends, Zeri, is now live. She is the first champion added to the game in 2022.
Zeri was first announced more than two weeks ago, at the beginning of the year. She is Zaun’s Spark, and is based on her storyshe’s deeply rooted in the aforementioned incompetence and other characters associated with it, like Ekko.
Zeri is an AD-resistant champion and her suit has a high resolution to electric magic. A few of her skills can give her extra shield and movement speed, which will definitely come in handy later in the game.

As is the tradition in League, Zeri will receive a skin after she is released – The Withered Rose. It’s completely different from her original look as she has pink hair and purple coat, which go together perfectly.
Zeri’s release is part of League Patch 12.2, which changed many other aspects of the game. As always, some champions and systems are buffed, while others are hit by nerf hammers. total 13 skins have also been added with Patch 12.2.
