Zelenskyy vows to restore control of Ukraine’s Lysyhansk in Donbass – National

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Sunday acknowledged that Ukrainian forces had withdrawn from Lysyhansk in the Donbass but promised to restore control of the area thanks to army tactics and the prospect of new, improved weapons.

“When the commanders of our army pull people from certain points on the front line where the enemy has the greatest advantage in firepower, and this also applies to Lysychansk, it means only one thing,” Zelenskyy said in his nightly video address.

“That we will return thanks to our tactics, thanks to the increase in the supply of modern weapons.”
