Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel is now available on mobile devices globally

After just over a week, Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel was downloaded more than four million times on all available platforms, at the time including PC and all major consoles.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel was officially released for consoles and PC on January 19, with Konami announcing that a mobile release would follow shortly thereafter. That proved to be true when iOS and Android users started seeing the game pop up on January 27th. Deployment has stalled and limited to certain regions, however.

The game is now available on mobile devices in North America, South America, and most parts of both Europe and Asia that previously did not have access to the game through app stores. their respective.

This means the latest Yu-Gi-Oh! the title, designed by Konami as a standalone platformer for use by both casual and combat players, is available on all major platforms in most of the game’s largest regions. During the first week of being on the market, Master Duel recorded more than 4 million downloads on all platforms. On Steam alone, the game was able to break into the top three in terms of total online players, peaking at 262,333 players and averaging 174,022 users.

With Master Duel Now available on mobile, those numbers will increase massively as Konami can reach what is possibly its largest potential player base. Look Link Duel, another digital variation of Yu-Gi-Oh! Using a completely different format from the actual card game, mobile is a huge market for the franchise. The game has recorded over 100 million downloads since its launch in 2016.

With Master Duel Now available globally, you can expect Konami to start hosting tournaments of all levels using the game. This will also include Yu-Gi-Oh!
