Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel is now available for free on Steam

On Tuesday, January 18, Konami surprised everyone with its release Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel Absolutely not on Steam. However, while the game was available for pre-download, the servers were still under maintenance at the time. Konami then revealed their other face-down card when the server went live on Wednesday, January 19 and duels around the world could start playing.

The game can also be played in 4K where available. Which means, for the first time, you can actually read the text on the card while it’s on the field, not just in the window in your hand. The game is free to play and has microtransactions. Of course, you can buy packs to get cards, but you can also buy pets (called “mates” in the game), sleeves, and various fields. You can play ranked mode and create Battle Rooms to play with friends, as well as follow other players’ games.
