Yonkers Teen Pleads Guilty In Deadly 2019 Stray Bullet Shooting Of Marilyn Cotto Montanez – CBS New York

YONKERS, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) — A 17-year-old pleaded responsible Friday to second diploma homicide within the stray bullet shooting death of a highschool pupil in Yonkers.
Jamir Thompson is accused of firing a gun at one other individual in April 2019.

The bullet struck 18-year-old Marilyn Cotto Montanez within the head and killed her.
Cotto Montanez was strolling down Morningside Avenue together with her 9-year-old sister when it occurred.

Thompson, who turned himself in to police about two weeks after the taking pictures, is due again in court docket in September for sentencing.
