Xur Exotic Armor, Weapons and Recommendations for December 10

While Xur is usually restricted to only appearing on weekends in Fate 2, Bungie’s big anniversary update gave the exotic merchant more work to do. Players now have access to a new destination called Eternity, where they can go to Xur’s Treasure Hoard to spend strange coins, get bonuses, and use treasure keys to unlock special armor specials, weapons, and other Commemorative items.

Apart from Xur and his new job host of game sales in Dares of Eternity . activity, players have experienced the sweeping changes made by the update. Tweaked cooldowns, class skills balance, weapon modifications, and more. In fact, those willing to spend a bit more on the Anniversary DLC Pack were able to experience a new Dungeon based on the infamous looting cave in the original. Life as well as some returning fan-favorite weapons like the Gjallarhorn.

For those who want a little respite from the festival, they can once again search for Xur and his exotic items, has come Fate 2 In the next few days. Follow this guide for his most current weekend location, news on his weird cypher quest, as well as a review of all the weird gear he brought with him at the end. the week of December 10, 2021.

Where is Xur?

Besides hanging out at Eternity, players can also find Xur on Nessus in the next few days.

From the Director, go to Nessus and load into Watcher’s Grave. Run to the back of the area to find a large tree. Jump up until the player finds the giant branch where the merchant is hanging out.

Class Armor and Exotic Cypher

In Season of the Lost, Xur’s role was expanded as the exotic merchant had weekly quests, exotic items, and legendary gear. These quests are not only required to purchase a second destiny engram, but are also necessary to get exotic equipment inherited from kiosk tower. Players can earn a new cypher by completing raids and winning key matches or gambits. Get bonus points for playing with clan friends or completing more challenging activities.

With Season 15, Xur is now selling more gear than his usual content. In addition to his normal weird gear, Xur now has Legendary Weapons and Armor to sell in exchange for Legendary Pieces and Glimmer. Better yet, the stat scrolls are pretty solid on Black Armor gear for this week.

Strange armor

Skull of Dire Ahamkara – Warlock helmet

Dire Ahamkara’s skull was once the cream of the exotic plant Warlock. However, Bungie felt the item was too strong and nerf has made this leadership a shadow of what it once was. Its armor skill is Actual Grandeur, which not only provides extra damage resistance when using Nova Bomb, but also gives super energy to killers.

This is, of course, a Voidwalker specific armor piece, but due to recent nerfs it’s hard to recommend some other options Warlocks could use like Nezarec’s Sin or Contraverse Hold. However, this week’s reels were the lowest of the three, so the player may have had a better turn at this point.

  • Recovery +10
  • Discipline +13

Orpheus Rig – Hunter’s Foot Armor

Similar to the Skull of Dire Ahamkara above, the Orpheus Rig is an extremely powerful oddity for Nightstalker Hunters. However, Bungie reduced the power of the super-generating device, starting with the Season of the Worthy update. Considering how powerful they are, Bungie has limited the item’s super boost, setting a limit on the number of super boosts that can be obtained after using Shadowshot to a maximum of 50%.

While they’re nowhere near the levels they used to be, the Orpheus Rig boots are still a great choice for Lacy Hunters. Uncanny Arrows enhances Shadowshot’s superpower by giving the player an ability energy for each enemy tethered with Deadfall anchors. For those who use Moebius Quiver, they can take more pictures than usual. Overall, it’s still a decent pick for Hunters, even if the item doesn’t quite feel like the punch it used to be. This week’s index is also the highest of the bunch, although the general statistics are solid but nothing remarkable.

Citan’s Ramparts – Titanium Gloves

Last seen over a year ago, Citan’s Ramparts is on sale again. With a privileged attack barrier, it allows allies to shoot through Titan’s towering barricade. The downside is that the health and duration of obstacles are lower than usual.

Of course, this item probably won’t be for everyone as it affects only a very small portion of Titan players, although it could be a Welcome item for PvP activities. Not everyone uses the Towering Barricade, which renders the item useless to those players. However, it still has uses in the right circumstances. These are definitely not a must-buy but players can find them even with good stats this week.

Strange Weapon

This week features the Wardcliff Coil rocket launcher with a unique firing mechanism. Mad Scientist allows this weapon to fire multiple rockets instead of just one at a time like other types. Vol Fly Launch goes even further to make this weapon even more explosive by significantly increasing the explosion radius and slightly reducing the handling and projectile speed.

Destiny 2 Wardcliff Coil Dieelpunk Ornament

For newer players, this is a great PvE weapon, so it’s an easy recommendation this week as the rocket launcher remains a solid power pick. Either way, this weapon in particular is still extremely powerful in PvE operations, especially against bosses. However, with Return of Gjallarhorn, Wardcliff may have been favored since the player could choose to use that in the heavy slot instead.

Additional perks:

  • Motorized autoloader
  • Mag expansion
  • Synthetic stocks
