Xbox may now have a multiverse fighting game because fans have been asking for it

Xbox now has the potential to offer a major competitor to Nintendo Super Smash Bros. and a fan coined the concept for this fighting game.
Microsoft now owns a ton of popular video game IPs, and bringing them as Xbox exclusives to Xbox and PC Game Pass is the least they can do with all these franchises.

When you own an IP, you obviously own all the characters within it, and when you own the characters, you can invite them anywhere you want!

Xbox fans now want a fighting game like Super Smash Bros.
While most gaming communities talk about whether Call of Duty will become exclusive to the Xbox ecosystem, a Reddit user has discovered a very unique opportunity hidden in the recent Microsoft acquisitions.
Last night, f_tom shared this self-designed image on Reddit, hoping to see something like this happen in the near future. And honestly, why not?
Now Xbox owns the rights to so many charismatic video game characters like Master Chief, Senua, Marcus Fenix, Captain Price, Crash Bandicoot, Tracer, Minecraft’s Alex, BJ Blazkowicz, Vault Boy, etc., why not prepare the groundwork for a multiverse fighting game like Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros.?
As tempting as this may sound, Xbox has never had a top-notch fighting game exclusive to date, and they don’t own any studios with substantial experience developing fighting titles.
Outsourcing would be an option, but who knows? Maybe they set up a brand new studio dedicated to an ambitious project like this.
After the Bethesda acquisition, we haven’t seen any significant crossovers between Xbox’s original IPs and Bethesda’s to date. At least this is what fans can expect to see in Halo Infiniteof many players.
That said, both companies are still in the first year of this consolidation, and perhaps we could see more swaps once things have settled down for a while.
