Xbox Game Pass Adds Surprise Xbox Series X Game Today
In a surprise announcement, Xbox Game Pass revealed a new Xbox Series X video game joining the subscription service today.
Xbox Game Pass is a gift that keeps on giving, with service adding more than it actually is each month. These are usually announced a few days, if not a week or two in advance. However, Xbox Game Pass will also occasionally skip a game by surprise. So while fans may be excited to watch Halo Infiniteits campaign when it’s released on Game Pass on December 8, the service added a surprise game today, December 7.
This doesn’t have much to do with notification, but it doesn’t have to either. Xbox Game Pass demonstrated their ability to attract fans and subscribers, capturing the attention the various games they deserve — even without being announced. Now the newest drop ball game on Xbox Game Pass is the next-gen version of Serious Sam 4.
Serious Sam 4 from Croteam and Devolver Digital, puts players in the role of Sam “Serious” Stone and his team as they face an alien invasion. It is a prequel to previous games and retains that franchise formula, if improved upon a bunch of mechanics in the process. Serious Sam 4 received mixed reviews upon its debut, but perhaps this debut on new hardware will give it a new life.
Before, Serious Sam 4 only available on PC and Stadia (due to an exclusivity deal), making today’s PS5 and Xbox Series X/S launch a real surprise. However, specifically, it is also a A surprise launch for Xbox Game Pass, gives more impetus to see it on the Xbox platform and really focuses on the daily releases for the platform. However, there is no listing for the Xbox One version.
Of course, Serious Sam 4 just one of many games that fans can enjoy on Xbox Game Pass in December because, as noted above, Halo InfiniteOur campaign will be released soon and there’s a lot more in the docs. Consists of Serious Sam 4, here are every release still announced this month.

More games may be revealed soon to stay tuned The Gunk, and it looks like Game Pass is determined to end the year on a strong note. With such services and monthly additions, it’s no surprise that Game Pass becomes one of the best holiday gifts on Xbox.
