NEW HAVEN, Conn. (CBSNewYork) – Working households in Connecticut are eligible for a bigger state tax refund.
Connecticut’s earned revenue tax credit score is rising to 30.5% from 23%.
Gov. Ned Lamont says the change averages to a virtually $500 improve.
To qualify, filers should have eligible earned revenue and an adjusted gross revenue that’s lower than:
- $51,464 ($57,414 married submitting collectively) with 3 or extra qualifying youngsters
- $47,915 ($53,865 married submitting collectively) with 2 qualifying youngsters
- $42,158 ($48,108 married submitting collectively) with 1 qualifying youngster
- $15,980 ($21,920 married submitting collectively) with no qualifying youngsters.
