“WHACK” as a verb describes hitting something with considerable force. It can also mean killing someone. As a noun, it means a strong blow or an attempt to do something.

Words are difficult these days due to the letters “W,” “C” and “K,” all of which are rare consonants. Ideally, players will quickly identify the letter “A” in the middle of a word, which is what we experienced with the GameRevolution suggested starting word “ARISE”.

To find the consonants, the player will have to carefully remove as many letters as possible. Wordle allows guessing six letters with five letters, so you can try each letter of the alphabet at least once. Thankfully, there are no duplicate letters these days, as that can really cause things to get repetitive.

As long as you don’t play on Hard mode, forcing the player to reuse the confirmed letters, you can pretty easily discard the majority of consonants, before having a good final guess with the remaining possible letters. Hopefully “WHACK” will come to you at this point.
