In Black Panther, M’Baku is a powerful warrior and leader of the Wakanda mountain tribe, the Jabari. At first opposed to T’Challa becoming the new king, he and his warriors decide to help T’Challa and the others. The Wakandans regain the throne from Killmonger. The character also returns in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.
