Will Smith, the 53-year-old actor, rapper and film producer says he’s considering stepping on the Verzuz stage against LL Cool J. Will Smith has been nominated for five Golden Globe Awards and two Academy Awards. Will Smith also won four Grammy Awards. While sitting down with Go in the morning does he admit he doesn’t Overconfident, he will go on to the field with a win.

“Yes, you know I thought about that. Me and L, we’re talking about being one,” Smith said. “But I never got the chance, I was writing my book. L will be my body. ”

Will said when talking about a potential battle with LL Cool J on Verzuz. LL Cool J, 53, is no stranger to accolades either, having won two Grammys himself. LL Cool J made his acting debut in Krus Groove and has become a staple in primetime television with shows like NCIS.

Will Smith talked about the potential battle during a recent appearance with his King Richard co-stars Demi Singleton and Saniyya Sidney. Heather B mentioned Will Smith and all of Cool J’s are from an era when DJs and MCs were all famous and Will replied that:

“Yeah, you go, that’s my secret weapon right there.”
