Why does Adele have a tattoo of Saturn?

Age of Adele come to us again. The beloved singer is preparing for the release of her latest album 30and she created a maelstrom on social media with her Adele: One Night Only special concert.

Many eagle-eyed fans recognize that the sports singer has a tattoo of Saturn on her forearm. It turns out that this planet has a unique meaning to Rolling in the abyss singer.

Adele also wore Saturn earrings during the special, and she did a live interview with Oprah. Unfortunately, the iconic pairing has nothing to do with the Saturn theme, but that doesn’t mean Adele hasn’t covered the subject in the past.

Adele recently spoke with Vogue about the importance of the planet to her. In 2011, Adele had to have surgery to repair a hemorrhage in her vocal cords. In 2017, she had to cancel two shows at Wembley Stadium, and that led to what she calls her Year of Worry.

“Then I started going back to Saturn,” says Adele, flipping her left wrist up to show me a tattoo. It’s Saturn, the planet, with a drawing of LA in the middle. “That’s where I lost the plot.” Adele explains: It takes 27 to 32 years for Saturn to orbit the sun and return to the position where you were born. “When that comes, it can rock your life,” she said. “It startles you: Who am I? What do I want to do? What makes me really happy? All those things. ”

Adele has completely embraced this philosophy, and she even has a tattoo in tribute to it.

Adele also said that her divorce was the result of her return to Saturn.

“I was just going through the motions and I wasn’t having fun,” she said. “Neither of us did anything wrong. Neither of us hurt each other or anything like that. It’s just: I want my son to see that I really love, and be loved. It’s really important to me.”

Albums 30 released on November 19, new single Easy for me available everywhere.
