Who is ‘Doma’ in Demon Slayer? Character and voice actor explanation

In the last episode of Demon Slayer Part 2, we get our first look at Doma (also spelled Douma). Here’s everything you need to know about this new character.

The last episode of Demon Slayer is an emotion for a number of reasons. Of course, Tengen survived the fight against Gyutaro and Daki, but he lost an arm and an eye in the process. In fact, he was so badly injured that he could die, but it was thanks to Nezuko that Hashira and Inosuke survived.

On top of that, we’ve also seen a bit of the Demon Brothers’ backstory. Seeing how Gyutaro and Daki suffered in their human lives was truly heartbreaking. However, in that flashback, the show also introduced us to ‘Doma,’ and fans were curious to learn more about this new character.

Demon Slayer Season 2’s Doma Ending Explained

In Demon Slayer, Doma or Douma were the Two Second-class Demons, holding a prominent place in the Twelve Kizuki. In the manga, Doma is described as a tall and muscular man with fair skin, and he first appeared in Chapter 96.

Honestly, Doma is one of the most complicated demons in the manga. On the one hand, Doma has a friendly side and charismatic personality, on the other hand, he has an extremely dark side. For example, Doma has always liked to eat young women.

In fact, Doma met Daki and Gyutaro while consuming a woman. Doma then turned the brothers into evil, as was revealed in the episode. However, by the time Doma met Daki and Gyutaro, he was already Senior Six. Over time, Doma increased in power by consuming humans and becoming Second Class.

Mamoru Miyano is Doma’s Voice Actor in Demon Slayer

Interestingly, Mamoru Miyano is the voice of Doma in Demon Slayer Part 2. For those unfamiliar, Mamoru Miyano is the VA who played the legendary Light Yagami Death Note series. Also, he plays Chrollo in Hunter x Hunter and Atsumu in Haikyuu.
