Who do you Think You Are? returns for its 19th season with five more celebrities ready to dive into their family history

Who Do You Think You Are travels through the family histories of famous people, telling tales of World War II fugitives, a famous killer and a talented footballer.

Five new celebrities will explore their origins and the lives of their ancestors in the show’s 19th season.

Sue Perkins on Who Do You Think You Are?

Who is in Season 19 of Who Do You Think You Are?

Sue Perkins is a comedian, presenter, actress and author best known for her partnership with Mel Giedroyc.

The couple co-hosted Light Lunch and Evening Lunch on Channel 4 before presenting The Great British Bake Off together from 2010 to 2016, leaving the show when the show moved to Channel 4.

She has appeared on several comedy panel shows including Mock the Week, Have I Got News For You, QI and Room 101.

She hosted the travel series Japan in 2019 and appeared in The Masked Singer as Dragon last year and placed fifth.

Osman is a host and author, best known for hosting the quiz show Pointless alongside comedian Alexander Armstrong.

He currently hosts the celebrity quiz show Richard Osman’s House of Games and appeared on Season 2 of Taskmaster and placed second.

Osman is the author of two crime novels, The Thursday Murder Club and The Man Who Died Twice, and has co-authored several general knowledge books with Armstrong.

Lucas is an actor and comedian who started his career with Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer on Shooting Stars before finding fame as part of a double act with David Walliams.

Lucas and Walliams starred in ill-aged sketch shows Little Britain and Come Fly With Me.

He has also acted in several films including Alice in Wonderland, Bridesmaids, Paddington and Sherlock Gnomes.

In 2020 he took over the helm of The Great British Bake Off alongside Noel Fielding, who was Sandi Toksvig.

Matt Luke

Martin is an actress whose career began in London stage shows before taking on screen roles.

She starred as Esther Summerson in the Dickens adaptation Bleak House and Elizabeth Darcy in Death Comes to Pemberley.

Her other roles include Mary Shelley on Frankenstein Chronicles and DCS Patricia Carmichael on police drama Line of Duty.

Martin won Baftas for her performances in Bleak House and in a Channel 4 adaptation of Poppy Shakespeare.

Anna Maxwell Martin

Little is a comedy actor whose best known roles include the role of Antony Royle on The Royle Family and Jonny on Two Pints ​​of Lager and a Packet of Crisps.

He was also the narrator on the comedy series Borderline and starred as DI Neville Parker on Death in Paradise.

Little also had small roles in Doctor Who, Midsomer Murders and Inside No. 9.

The first episode of season 19 will air on BBC One on May 26 at 9pm.

Four more episodes will air weekly at the same time – except for June 2nd due to the anniversary – with the last episode airing on June 30th.
