White House to host Intel, Apple, Microsoft execs to discuss chip shortage

The CEO of Intel Corp.

will be a part of executives from Apple Inc.
Microsoft Corp.
Ford Motor Co.

and others at a White Home digital assembly Thursday to deal with the worldwide chip scarcity, Reuters reported Wednesday.

Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo and  Nationwide Financial Council Director Brian Deese will lead the assembly, which was announced last week.

Intel’s Pat Gelsinger plans to attend, in keeping with Reuters; it’s unclear if different CEOs will be a part of him. Representatives from Samsung Electronics Co.
Common Motors Co.
Stellantis NV
Micron Know-how Inc.
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co.

and BMW
