Heart Scales are important treasures in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, and this guide will help players find them.

When the player passes Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearll, they will meet an NPC capable of teaching the Pokemon any moves it may have forgotten. However, this NPC will not offer his services for free, and fans will need to lure him in with a special item. That special item is the Heart Rate Scale and this guide details all the ways Pokemon BDSP player can get one.

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl: Heart Scale Location

Fans are hunting for Heart Scales in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl there are four different sources they can pursue. Two of those sources provide a guaranteed Heart Rate Scale and players should target those first. Then, if a fan still needs more of these items, they can focus on the other two sources, which can provide unlimited Heart Scales but require quite a bit of patience.

Route 212

The first guaranteed Heart Scale can be found on Route 212, which the player will enter from Pastoria City. When entering this route, players should head northwest until they come across one of the Pokemon BDSPhoney tree. From this position, fans should take a few steps to the left to access the vertical barrier trees, and the Heart Scale hidden in the mud in the corner of that row.

Route 214

Fans can find another Guaranteed Heart Rate Scale by heading to Veilstone City and heading south to enter 214th Street. To the right of this route there are a number of fences that create a series of spikes. roads lead down and fans should follow those paths until they approach a trainer wearing purple. There’s a tall grass ring just west of that trainer, and a second Heart Scale is hiding in a gap in that loop.

Grand Underground

Players who need an unlimited source of Heart Scales can turn their attention to Pokemon BDSPGrand Underground. Indeed, these treasures can be mined from shiny blobs appearing on the walls in that location, although their rarity means fans should definitely not expect to get the Heart. Scale every time you dig.

Luvdisc

Luvdiscs serves as another unlimited source for Heart Scales, and fans can catch these fish-like Pokemon using the Super Rod to fish in Route 224. This area can be accessed after unlock National Dex in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining pearlsand players who want a chance at Heart Scale should capture the Luvdiscs they find or use Thief or Covet on them.
