Where to find the Metal Jacket in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Players will have to go through some Metal Jackets if they want to evolve certain Pokémon in Pokémon Legend: Arceus and complete the Pokédex.

Both Scyther and Onyx need the Metal Coat to evolve into their next forms. Scyther transforms into Scizor with the Metal Coat, and Onyx transforms into Steelix.

There are two ways to get the Metal Jacket. The surest way to get one is to grind for Bonus points. Get Rewards Points by going out into the world and return lost satchels. Each will reward the player with a random amount of points. After collecting 1000 MP, you can buy the Metal Coat from the Trading Station in Jubilife Village.

The second way to find Metal Coast is waiting for a Space-Time Distortion to form. Inside them, the player can find a lot of items lying on the ground to collect, and the Metal Jacket could be among them. Distortion can be dangerous, especially if you’re not prepared, and running a lap could land you in bad luck.

Metallic Jackets are not a guaranteed item in Spacetime Distortion, and the most efficient way to get them is to grind for MP. However, if you do find the Ambient Space-Time Distortion, you should check it out for the Metal Coat in case you find one.
