Oshawott can be found in the wild in Pokemon Legends Arceus. This means that trainers can finally get all three starters in this game. However, the location to catch Oshawott is not opened until later in the game. Here’s how to find Oshawott and catch it in Legends Arceus.

Where can you find Oshawott in Pokemon Legends Arceus?

The obvious way for players to get Oshawott in Pokemon Legends Arceus is to choose it as a starter item. If that’s the case, the player could spend the entire game training Oshawott and its evolution. However, if trainers with another creature become their first friend, they will still have a chance to obtain Oshawott later.

To find Oshawott in the wild in Pokemon Legends Arceus, the player must reach a three-star rank to unlock the Space-Time Distortion. Then they might find Oshawott (and some useful items) by accessing distortions in Alabaster Icelands. These distortions appear to be seemingly random, so it can take some time to wait before one opens up in the correct position. However, the player can enter it and capture Oshawatt like any other wild Pokemon when it spawns.

Another option to get this Pokemon is to wait until the story is over. After it ends, Professor Laventon will give the player a second starter Pokemon, and they can choose to get Oshawott.

Like the other two starters, Oshawott’s second evolution, Samurott, has a new Hisuian Form. Samurott becomes his Water/Dark form in this form, which is stronger against many types than his normal form. Unfortunately, the tradeoff is that it’s also weaker for more types.

Oshawott is a beginner in Pokemon Black and White and Pokemon Black 2 and White 2, so a lot of trainers are nostalgic about it and want to add it to their teams. Luckily, once trainers hit a certain part of the game, they can catch as many of these fearsome Pokemon as they like.
