The return of the Soundwave Series has arrived in Fortnite and players are tasked with collecting new concert coins for some cosmetic and XP rewards.
Many players are eager to find the concert coin as quickly as possible in exchange for 55,000 XP and a new cosmetic spray. So, to make this challenge as fast as possible, here’s everything you need to know.

What is the Fortnite sound wave series?
According to the official Epic Games Website, Soundwave Series is a series of in-game music shows featuring artists from around the world. The event originally started in October 2021, but has returned with more stars, music, challenges, and rewards.
The event kicks off on January 21, 2022 at 6PM ET and features Australian singer-songwriter Tones And I, who will perform consecutive shows during Fortnite in 72 hours.
The player can watch the performance by entering the Sound Line: Tones And I stack in the game or entering the creative island code 4161-9206-0181. The show runs only until January 24, 2022 at 6 p.m. ET.

How to Collect Concert Coins in Fortnite Sound Series
As part of the new Series Soundwave event, several new challenges are available in the game for players to complete.
- Collect Concert Coins (0/2) – 55,000XP
- Collecting Concert Coins (0/1) – Cosmetic Spray
To complete this challenge, players will first need to change their game mode to Series Soundwave: Tones And I. Then, sit through the entire concert, which lasts about 20 minutes.
At the end of the concert, walk through the large keyhole portal and you will be teleported to another part of the map. Then you will see big gold coin with ‘F’ on it, just walk over there to collect.
There is only one concert coin available, so to collect a second coin for 55,000XP, the player will need to repeat the same process.
