The PS5 may still be hard to find, but for those who already own one or are currently trying to buy one for this holiday season, the obvious must-have gifts with it are video games. NS PS5 has had some solid exclusivity over the past year or stand out, like Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, Returnal, Deathloop, and several others.

Deathloop comes from Arkane Studio, part of Bethesda, so it’s also an interesting historical site when it’s technically a Microsoft game exclusive to the PS5. Either way, it tells the story of Colt tries to kill 8 visionaries, one of them (Julianna) is actively trying to kill him, to break the time loop and escape from an island where the days keep repeating themselves. Its gameplay is solid and overall the game has been hailed by many as a Game of the Year nominee.

Considering Deathloop essentially brand new (released in September) on a hard-to-find console, Black Friday deals seem like a long way off. At most, it seems like a reasonable discount would only be $10-$20, but Walmart’s Official Black Friday Advertisement comes with a price that’s hard to beat, knocking predictions out of the park. Deathloop listed on this ad for $25, about 58% off. Getting a September game for more than half the retail price is a great gift and a great money saver.

Buyers should know that this Non-direct Black Friday Deals YET, but the ad confirms that this sale will begin online on November 22 at 7 p.m. ET. It will begin in-store on November 26 at 5 a.m. local time. Walmart+ members will get early access to online deals, starting at 3 p.m. ET on November 22nd, as of this writing, this looks to be the biggest discount for Deathloop, and is unlikely to find it cheaper than that.

For those wondering how long to beat Deathloop, although there is no inherent connection between length and price, it is about 15 hours. Finishers can get more out of it for as little as 30 hours, and it’s worth replaying if that’s important to someone shopping for themselves and a loved one. Ultimately, it’s a perfect gift for someone who just received a PS5, and especially for those who might be fans of Arkane’s previous work, like Reproachful.
