If you have started your adventure in Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker, you may notice that something is missing in the important items in your inventory, especially if you are looking for the Aether Series of a certain area.

Without Aether Compass it would be really hard to collect Aether Currents and without Currents you wouldn’t be able to move faster in areas. But, no need to worry.

Aether Compass has not been removed from the game. It has just been moved to a new location on your inventory. Where? Well, follow the instructions below to learn how to use Aether Compass in Endwalker.

Where is FFXIV Endwalker Aether Compass

To use Aether Compass in Endwalker, you should open the Inventory menu and then go to the Tasks tab. Now, open the Collections category, and you should be able to detect and use Aether Compass.

What is the use of Aether Compass?

Aether Compass is a useful utility that allows you to find the Aether Lines for each region much more easily. Once you manage to find all the Aether Series in an area, you are allowed to fly on your mount, which allows you to move much faster in the area.

Another way to fast-travel in areas is to find Quick-Move spots, but it can take longer than identifying Aether Lines.

Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker now available through early access permissions on the PC. It will be fully rolled out to all players on December 7.
