When is Casa Amor on Love Island 2022 and when does it end?

The islanders face their biggest relationship test yet with the return of second Love Island mansion, Casa Amor

It’s week three of Love Island 2022, and some islanders are getting more comfortable with their partners than others.

But for those who haven’t found the love of their life on the ITV2 show yet, there’s no need to worry as Casa Amor’s return is imminent.

Casa Amor will give couples the opportunity to test their relationship with each other or simply abandon their partner and go full force on the next attractive single they have their eyes on.

Here’s everything you need to know about Love Island’s biggest twist, Casa Amor:

What does Casa Amor mean?

Casa Amor is Spanish for “house of love,” though it also means “the house that causes more drama than any other building in the history of reality TV.”

But then it would say: ‘a casa que causa más drama que cualquier otro edificio en la historia de los programa de reality’, which doesn’t quite roll off the tongue.

What is happening at Casa Amor?

Casa Amor is another villa in Mallorca that either men or women go to on vacation during their vacation.

But the groups won’t be alone for long, as five new men and women are introduced to each mansion to turn the matched islanders’ heads.

Casa Amor has proved too much for supposedly committed couples in recent seasons — in season four, Josh Denzel’s head was turned by Kaz Crossley days after he told then-partner Georgia Steel that he was committed to her.

Casa Amor has been a staple of the show for the past five seasons and is a favorite among Love Island fans due to the disruption and drama it causes.

Where is Villa Casa Amor?

Villa Casa Amor is located in Mallorca in the same area as Love Island’s main villa.

This year’s Love Island villa is located in Sant Llorenc des Cardassar, near the east coast of the island, so Casa Amor will be in a similar location, although the producers haven’t revealed the exact location.

Date 2022: When is Casa Amor?

Participants usually go to Casa Amor between the 26th and 28th day, which would place the date sometime in the first week of July.

A show insider told The Sun that Casa Amor is set to air on July 4th this year – so there won’t be any reason for viewers to get bored on July 4th.

Davide and Ekin-Su had a turbulent relationship at the mansion

However, the insider said the producers may want to move that date forward or back a few days to squeeze as much drama out of the proceedings as possible.

There are currently very few couples who are particularly invested in each other, so Casa Amor is more likely to be delayed than brought in early.

Giving Islanders a few more days to commit will result in more explosive television when Islanders leave their partners.

The islanders typically spend around four days at Casa Amor, meaning the group will be separated on July 4th and likely have their awkward reunion on July 7th.

Again, it all depends on the show’s producers, and if they decide a longer break is better for viewership, then their stay at Casa Amor could last a week or even longer.

Who could turn their heads in Casa Amor?

Really everyone, as history has shown. But not all villa relationships are equally solid.

At the moment only Gemma and Luca and Indiyah and Dami appear to have any semblance of a secure relationship.

While Andrew is mad at Tasha, the feeling doesn’t seem to be reciprocated, and she might well turn heads when introduced to the right man.

Davide and Danica, as well as Ekin-Su and Charlie, are also convenience couples at the moment, and if things stay that way for them, all four will likely be looking for love in Casa Amor.
