What is Beat the Chasers?

Beat The Chasers is a spin-off series from The Chase.

It is the show’s third spin-off, following Chase: Celebrity Special and The Family Chase.

On the show, contestants try to beat a combination of chasers to win big cash prizes.

What happens in each episode of Beat the Chasers?

Similar to the original series The Chase, hopefuls in Beat the Chasers begin with what is known as a cash builder round.

In this round, contestants are each asked five multiple choice questions and awarded £1,000 for each correct answer.

Players then have a choice of two to six chasers to play against them for increasing amounts of money but with decreasing time advantage.

Super offers were introduced in the last series. These gave contestants the potential to win hundreds of thousands of pounds – if they complete a perfect cash builder round and answer all five questions correctly.

Who are the pursuers?

The chasers have some of the best trivia minds in the country, and viewers will recognize all but one face from previous series.

Shaun “The Dark Destroyer” Wallace, Paul “The Sinnerman” Sinha, Darragh “The Menace” Ennis, Jenny “The Vixen” Ryan, and Mark “The Beast” Labbett will all return.

The new season will also welcome a new follower, Issa Schultz, aka The Supernerd.

Schultz, who is a regular on The Chase Australia, steps in Anne “The Governess” Hegerty who tested positive for Covid-19 shortly before shooting began.

She said: “I don’t know if we can make the table big enough. Everyone is going to have to have huge widescreen televisions. If the bosses are ready for it, I’m absolutely ready for it.”

He said: “I’d love to explore this Bradley [Walsh] Binding. A big part of the success is that Chaser-Bradley bond. He has a unique relationship with every chaser on set. I would love to develop my own.”

Who hosts Beat the Chasers?

Walsh has been the program’s host since the original series, The Chase, began in 2009.

He was also the host of every spin-off series including Beat the Chasers when it premiered in April 2020.

When is Beat the Chasers on TV?

Episodes will continue on the channel every night at 9pm through Friday May 20. When does Beat the Chasers start? This is how you see the 2022 series
