WhatsApp desktop and web beta is getting a sticker store

WhatsApp recently added a useful new feature to its web app, allowing users to turn images into stickers. And now follow trusted tipster WABetainfo, the company owned by Meta is now adding a sticker store to the WhatsApp Web/desktop app.
Users can now open a new Sticker Store by simply tapping the plus icon in the sticker tray. However, you cannot download sticker packs, you are only allowed to send them to your chats instead. Meanwhile, the recipient will be able to see which sticker pack the sticker belongs to.
The feature is currently available to WhatsApp Web/desktop beta users, but the company is expected to make it available to the general public in the next few days. However, the tipper has no word on when the feature will be available to everyone.
In other news, the company is also working on the possibility of choosing several different skin tones for some of their emoticons. It is currently testing the feature with people using the WhatsApp Beta for Android app.
