The fashion and music icon and her boyfriend A$AP Rocky were expecting a baby Monday morning, according to People. This is the couple’s first child and they have been together for several years.
The couple revealed the news during a photo session conducted in the Harlem neighborhood of New York City, home of A$AP Rocky, where Rihanna wears a bright pink unbuttoned coat that reveals her growing belly. She paired the look with light wash jeans and jewelry accessories. The rapper is wearing a denim jacket over a white sweater paired with leather pants.
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are said to have been dating since 2020 after years of being close friends. The two have also worked together, with Fenty Beauty mogul exploits rapper for a Fenty Skin campaign in 2020.
The pair have made numerous red carpet appearances, including at the 2019 Fashion Awards, where Rihanna’s now-defunct fashion label Fenty won the Urban Luxe category. They also made a standout appearance at the 2021 Met Gala in September when the pair arrived fashionably late with Rihanna wearing an oversized, black Balenciaga coat with a matching bejeweled hat and A$AP Rocky in a multicolored duvet thrown by ERL over the black suit.
The couple has yet to reveal when the baby will be born.
