The segment shows the girl, face made up, physically resisting as the man leads her away, while the money between the two families has changed hands. The heart-pounding sight, said anchor Jake Tapper, underscored the “harsh reality of the humanitarian crisis engulfing the country”. The girl’s father told CNN he “had no choice.”
