Weight loss influencer Lexi Reed Home after a near-death crisis

Fitness influencer Lexi Reed, who ended up on a ventilator in the ICU with an undisclosed health crisis, announced on social media Saturday that she’s “returning” home and ready to move on to the next part of this part of my story.”

“Happy to be alive when it seemed impossible and I had no reaction in the trauma room,” she wrote on Instagram, thanking fans for their support.

Reed, 31, famously lost 312 pounds and chronicled his weight loss journey on social media.

Earlier this week, her husband Danny Reed shocked his followers by posting a picture of her in the hospital in a medically induced coma with some details about her medical condition. aunt.

“A few weeks ago, Lexi was constantly sick and couldn’t keep food down,” he wrote. “Then she started acting differently so I took her to the hospital where they admitted her to the ICU, placed on a medically induced comma. [sic]on a ventilator, and [told] I think her organs are starting to fail.

“They also told me if I had waited, she would have died. She is currently on dialysis, unable to walk, and in the process of recovering. Sadly we do not have insurance. Thank you all for your prayers, it all means a lot to us and this will be a long, hard fighting part of her story but she is strong! ”

Danny, who has lost 95 pounds, did not say what Lexi’s diagnosis was, nor did she explain what prompted her to be hospitalized on her own post.
