We are here at last! Endwalker Headstart is live

You may have been waiting for it, you KNOW we’ve been waiting for it, and finally, it’s here. Final Fantasy XIV’s 6.0 expansion, Endwalker, kicked off early, super early, this morning. Well, super early for us westerners anyway.

Of course, as always with something like this, just because it’s live doesn’t mean you’ll be in immediately. As noted by Team XIV earlier, they have entered this significant queue, more than usual, due to increased player numbers and global hardware shortages. This means you need to be patient. You can take the time to read through the patch notes or, if you’re also a WoW player, might consider joining the new raid on the PTR in the meantime.

There’s also another thing to note: emails have already begun to be sent to those who pre-order the Endwalker from the Square Enix store. If you haven’t received it, you’ll want to check your spam. Effectively, it’s just letting players know that they’ll soon have access to the full expansion key and will need to put it in their account on Mog Station between December 7 and December 5. December 10. To get the key, you need to sign in to your Square Enix store account.
