Also last week, the agency temporarily took its unemployment insurance filing system offline — the culmination of an effort, spanning more than a decade, to modernize that system. Officials said the system would be back up and running on Tuesday. The entire modernization process, which has been eight years behind schedule, is expected to be completed by June next year.
