What to know

The Portland Trail Blazers road trip will continue as they head to Chase Center at 10 p.m. ET Friday to take on the Golden State Warriors. After losing in a match they were expected to win, Portland now faces the more difficult task of proving itself against unfavorable odds.

Golden State’s win lifted them 16-2 while the loss to Portland dropped them 10-9. If the Golden State wants to win, they’ll need to focus on stopping the Trail Blazers’ guard point Damian Lillard, who posted a brace with 32 points and ten dimes along with six rebounds, and center Jusuf Nurkic, who dropped a double-double with 28 points and 17 pounds with five dimes. We’ll see if they meet the challenge.
