WATCH: Tucker Carlson Calls Fauci ‘A Shorter Version of Benito Mussolini’

On Monday night, Tucker Carlson tore Dr. Fauci from obsessing over himself during his most recent television appearance.
“Someday, when the fog clears and the art returns, someone will write a hilarious novel about this moment,” Tucker said Monday night.
“One of its stars will be an almost 1-year-old official who shouldn’t be driving a car at this point but has somehow taken control of the most powerful country on earth and then quickly crazy. If you haven’t subscribed to Tony Fauci lately, you might be a little surprised to find out what he’s become. If you tune in a few years ago, you might remember Dr. Fauci as a public health official as he wore a button-down shirt, giving precise, careful answers. No more. After two years of non-stop work in the media, tony Fauci was adapted into a shorter version of Benito Mussolini. Watch Dr. Fauci on television refer to himself, unabashedly, in the third person,” added Tucker.
CLOCK:
“It’s okay. I’m just doing my job,” Fauci says in the clip.
“And I will save lives and they will line up. There is a distinct unscientific taste to this. So if they stand up and criticize science, no one will know what they’re talking about. But if they get up and actually aim a bullet at Tony Fauci, people can tell there’s a person there, so it’s easy to get criticized. But they are really criticizing science, because I represent science,” concluded Fauci.
Tucker then turns to himself and tears up the “Doctor”.
“And they criticize me, they are criticizing science. I am a scientist, Tony Fauci declared. Science is me,” Tucker said, quoting Fauci.
