Watch Texas Tech vs. Lamar: TV channel, live stream info, start time

Who’s playing?

Lamar @ Texas Tech

Current record: Lamar 1-5; Texas Tech 5-0

What to know

The Lamar Cardinals road trip will continue when they arrive at United Supermarket Arena at 4 p.m. ET on Saturday to take on the Texas Tech Red Raiders. Texas Tech must be still feeling good after the win, while the Cardinals will find a way to adjust the ship.

Looks like Lamar had the smaller half of the collarbone at Thanksgiving dinner. They were in impressive distance but were unable to close the gap on Wednesday when they fell 79-73 to the Texas-San Antonio Roadrunners.

As for the Red Raiders, it can’t be said that they have nothing to be thankful for this Thanksgiving week. They made Tuesday’s home contest a breeze, winning 96-40 over the Nebraska Omaha Mavericks. The spread is quite large but not surprising as the spread is 30 points in favor of Texas Tech. They rely on the guardian’s efforts Terrence Shannon Jr., the one with 18 points, and the guardian Mylik Wilson, who had eight points. Wilson didn’t help his team much against the Cardinals Word Incarnate on Saturday, so this is a good turning point for him.

Lamar is currently 1-5 while Texas Tech sits at 5-0. A pair of numbers to note before starting: The Cardinals are sixth worst in college basketball in terms of results, with just 10.3 averages. Making matters even worse for Lamar, the Red Raiders ranked 11th in college basketball in terms of points required, with an average of 20.6.
