The Arizona Sun Demons usually have all the answers at home, but the Oregon Beavers pose a difficult problem. Beavers are in control with 17 not leading against ASU.
Oregon State enjoyed QB’s tag-team collaboration Chance Nolan and RB BJ Baylor. The first overcame a TD and 66 yards in 11 attempts in addition to punching into a rushed grounding, while the second got 82 yards above the ground in 12 attempts. ASU was led by RB Rachaad White, who has so far caught four 69-yard passes.
This is the least score ASU has this year as it enters the third quarter.

Current record: State of Arizona 7-3; Oregon State 6-4
What to know
The Oregon State Beavers are losing 1-3 to the Arizona Sun Devils since November 2017, but they will have a chance to close the gap a bit on Saturday. Oregon State and ASU will go head-to-head in a Pac-12 battle at 10:30 p.m. ET at Reser Stadium. These two teams look to continue the momentum of previous wins.
When you finish 231 yards ahead of your opponent like Beaver did last week, a favorable outcome will almost certainly follow. They are the clear winners with a 35-14 margin against the Stanford Cardinals. The game only ended at the end of the third, at which point Oregon State had a 28-7 advantage. Oregon State QB Chance Nolan was wearing it as he passed two TDs and 257 yards in 25 attempts along with punching in a hasty touchdown. Nolan’s 67-yard touchdown to WR Trevon Bradford in the third quarter made for one of the most memorable moments of the evening.
Meanwhile, the Washington Huskies went 24-14 against ASU entering the fourth half last week, but ASU stole the victory right under the Huskies’ nose in the last minutes with the final score of 35-30. The win came on the back of a strong post-first quarter rise to top a 14-to-nothing deficit. It’s been another big night for Sun Devil’s RB Rachaad White, who dashed into two TDs and 184 yards on 32 carry. One of those touches came with 1:18 left to put ASU ahead.
The Beavers are predicted to lose this next with a score of 3. There could be an interesting gamble in this game, as they have been doing pretty well against home disparity this season while ASU struggled to combat disparities along the way.
Oregon State is currently 6-4 while ASU is 7-3. Some defensive stats to keep in mind: Oregon State is 199th in the nation behind in the number of touches allowed, with 18 points for the season. The Sun Devils have been going through some struggles of their own as they stumbled into the competition with the most rushed 184 touchdowns allowed nationally, having dropped out 15 of the season. Maybe one of these Achilles heels will get in the way of the losing team.
