A new one Hawk Eye TV Spot reveals where Clint Barton’s trick arrows come from. As the vengeful archer himself once said, it makes no sense for Clint to face aliens, cyborgs, etc. with only a bow and always appear overhead, but the truth is that he always has one. Sports special arrow gun. A variety of useful functions helped save the day. And we’ll soon see more of his trick arrows in action, as the trailers for his upcoming Disney Plus show have promised.

Furthermore, this new TV segment confirms that Barton made them himself. This latest commercial aired on ABC’s Sunday Night Football and it features some of the latest must-see footage. Includes a hero reveal scene of Jeremy Renner on his desk, placing some additional arrows for his next quest. Check it out via the screenshot below:

As this clip makes clear, Barton gets his technology from Stark Industries, however he is the one who makes the arrows himself. In his previous appearances, it’s unclear if Tony made them for him or if they were provided by SHIELD but we now know that his trick arrows are Barton’s original. Given how much fandom Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop has compared to them in other clips, what’s the bet he teaches her how to make them herself in the movie?

Here’s another callback to the iconic Matt Fraction/David Aja Hawk Eye The comics had a huge influence on the show. In that book, Barton was very independent from the other Avengers and frequently refused their help… until he found himself a new partner in Kate. Given that he has a family in the MCU, Renner’s Clint is a little less lonely but his dynamic with his guardian still seems very interesting.

Marvel’s Hawk Eye premieres on Disney Plus with the first two episodes on Wednesday, November 24.
