Watch Ethan Hawke and Oscar Isaac’s Trailer React To The Moon Knight
Moon Knight stars Oscar Isaac and Ethan Hawke watched Marvel Studios’ Moon Knight trailer for the first time, reacting moment by moment.
Trailer for the upcoming Marvel Studios series Moonlight Knight was released earlier this week, and the studio has now revealed a video of Oscar stars Isaac and Ethan Hawke watching the preview for the first time. While fans expressed their excitement at the much-awaited series’ trailer, they’ll love to watch the two actors react to each moment in the two-minute preview.
Moonlight Knight will be the first Marvel Studios The series will premiere on Disney Plus in 2022. Coming in March, it follows in the footsteps of five highly successful series that premiered on the streaming service last year as part of the series. Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It will follow the journey of Isaac’s Steven Grant, a gift shop employee who experiences a mental condition that leads to multiple identities.
The Moonlight Knight intro video begins with Isaac’s Grant, aka Marc Spector, lying in bed and playing with a Rubik’s Cube, and while many think he’s just acting, Isaac reveals in the reaction video that he actually can solve the cube easily. “You’re like a genius,” Hawke joked. Both liked the “scary” feel at the beginning of the trailer and appreciated Kid Cudi’s use of “Day ‘N’ Nite” as the theme.
The two actors continued to watch the rest of the trailer and shared humorous comments most of the time. “Reflection. Pyramid. Crocodile. Old flip phone.” It’s almost as if they’re trying to point out easter eggs to fans. At one point in the video, Isaac mocks his own British accent because Moonlight Knight, which many fans have also commented on since the trailer was dropped.
Both actors burst into laughter at Lucy Thackeray’s brief appearance in the trailer as Grant’s co-worker Donna. However, Hawke’s funniest observation is comparing himself to Marlon Brando from Dr. Moreau’s Island. When Moon Knight revealed In the final moments of the trailer, the two actors cheer and embrace.
Besides Isaac and Hawke, French actor Gaspard Ulliel will also appear in Moonlight Knight as Anton Mogart, aka The Midnight Man. In the comics, he is a notorious thief who commits his thefts in the middle of the night, hence the name. Unfortunately, before the film was released, Ulliel passed away after a skiing accident in the French Alps.
Moonlight Knight premieres on Disney Plus on March 30, 2022.
