WATCH: Ben Shapiro reacts to the Rittenhouse verdict; “Clearly the jury did the right thing”

On Friday, Ben Shapiro dismissed Kyle Rittenhouse’s ‘not guilty’ verdict by saying it was “obvious” the jury did the right thing.
“Let’s talk about the verdict. So obviously not guilty of all crimes. What strikes me about the controversy over this is that the norm in US law is a reasonable doubt. The defendant doesn’t even have to prove that he did this to defend himself. He must demonstrate that there is a reasonable doubt that he maybe Shapiro started talking to Michael Knowles.
“There is no human with more than two synapses that activate neurons without knowing this is the case. Everyone knows that this is the case. “The fact that the judges stood up and got it right here is impressive. I also think that also emphasizes how threatening they are, because to make them ‘not guilty’ it means that someone has to be convinced to be ‘not guilty’, in which case, the whole thing. the jury has to come up with the logic to be subject to, or they already know they’re not guilty from the start and they’re waiting and they don’t want to be flagged up for serious mistake somehow just stating the obvious right away. Whatever the case might be, it’s clear that the jury did the right thing, which means of course the media and the court of public opinion will assume that the jury did the wrong thing.” he concluded.
“I will invite David Henderson, the civil rights attorney. David, if you are the family of, of, of, the victims who died here,” he said as he paused, holding back tears.
“What’s your next…. Do you have somewhere else to go? Where did Mr. Huber’s family and Mr. Rosenbaum go?‘ Todd asked.
