On Sunday, Taylor Heinicke further cemented his role as Washington’s leader, turning a messy fight for position on the field – complete with a fourth intercept, multiple picks close quarters, multiple misses and generally inconsistent gameplay – into another horror movie. This one, one 17-15 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders, secured by Washington’s newest player, Brian Johnson, who signed just a few days before was the team’s fourth top scorer of the season and scored 48 yards with 37 seconds remaining.
