Warzone’s Demon Gun Incident Has Come to Vanguard

Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific became famous for all errors and glitches. Some are minor issues, while others are game breaking. One of the most famous bugs that developers still haven’t fixed once and for all is Demon gun malfunction. Weapon crashes cause your gun’s texture to change into pointed blocks that can make the weapon difficult to use. Likewise, if you run into enemies with demon guns, you might have a hard time taking them down, as the eavesdropping textures obscure the operator. Now, it seems the demon gun malfunction has entered Vanguard, but with a little variation.

A player posted a clip on Call of Duty: Vanguard Reddit, showing texture errors in action. The clip is taken from a Domination game on Das Haus. As you can see, the problem is not limited to the gun, but the entire terrain, the object included. Texture issues are causing chaos on the map, making it difficult to navigate and see enemy players.

You can run, but you can’t hide

Players posted clips explaining that they took steps to resolve the issue themselves. They reinstalled the texture cache and drivers with no success. Even reinstalling the game did nothing to make the nasty textures go away.

This error will be too familiar to Warzone Pacific fan. They have had to deal with this glitch for several seasons. When the demon gun malfunction is affecting the entire map in Vanguard, we can only hope that the developers will stamp it out once and for all. To keep track of bugs and glitches being worked on, you can follow Vanguard Trello board.
