Warzone players are reporting graphic bugs in the Pacific update

Following the release of the Pacific update, Call of Duty: Warzone players are reporting major graphics issues across all platforms.
Call of Duty: Warzone recently received the much-anticipated Pacific Ocean update, which introduced a new tropical island map of Caldera. With such a big update, Call of Duty Players may encounter some errors. Unfortunately, it seems that some more serious problems have occurred in Call of Duty: Warzone than predicted. A variety of graphics and performance are frustrating Call of Duty: Warzone, which Raven Software has acknowledged and embarked on.
Social networks are on fire with clips from Call of Duty: Warzone shows dozens of different visual degradation issues and performance issues associated with the game’s recent Pacific patch. Two main problems seem to be prevalent. The first is only low polygon models for loading environments, with one player describing the map as “Play-Doh Caldera.” The other problem is the artifact on the weapons, causing them to explode at sharp angles – a bug Call of Duty player may be familiar with.
Raven has confirmed at least some of these issues. Official Trello Development Board for Call of Duty: Warzone was updated recently with two issues currently under investigation. The first is about the artifact issues players have with their guns and/or Operators. The second is about “performance” issues, namely PlayStation Platform. It’s not clear what specific performance issue Raven is referring to, although it may be related to low-quality environmental details.
Perhaps it is worth noting that today marks the third day in a row Raven’s Quality Assurance Department took the walks following the unexpected layoffs of at least a dozen team members. The QA team is asking Activision to redeploy its fired teammates, noting that management has promised the team a pay improvement over the months as the team begins to grow. Call of Duty: Warzone. That the QA team is needed specifically to deal with issues like the ones that are going on in Call of Duty: Warzone is undeniable.
With that in mind, there is no timeline for these matters in Call of Duty: Warzone will be fixed. Addressing issues alone can take some time, but without Raven’s QA team and with other stressors involved Internal controversy at Activision, fixes may take longer than expected.
At least there is a certain charm to Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific‘s fault. They can definitely make the game unplayable. No one wants to lag only to explode 10 seconds later. But they make funny clips to share online, and more importantly, a great reason to encourage Activision to support Raven’s QA team and revert layoffs.
Call of Duty: Warzone currently available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
