Warzone Pacific trailer sets up season 1’s story

The story of Call of Duty: Vanguard is set to continue through Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific, with a brand new trailer establishing the plot.


Like with the last two entries in the series, Call of Duty: Warzone will be used to continue the story of Call of Duty: Vanguard. While details were previously limited on what Call of Duty: Warzone what the story will be, a new cutscene sets the stage for the conflict.

In Call of Duty: Modern WarfareThe post-launch story has a few interesting revelations for fans to witness. First, additional cutscenes confirm that Alex survived the explosion at the end Call of Duty: Modern Warfarecharacter’s campaign, with the character being given a prosthetic leg so he can continue fighting. Second, after defeating Zakhaev, it was none other than Soap MacTavish who helped Price defuse the bomb, allowing fans to hear his voice before his proper debut in the final sequel. With the previous two parts Call of Duty: Warzone stories that have a big impact on the characters in the campaign, it will be interesting to see if Call of Duty: VanguardThe cast of will play an important role in the future. Despite that, the Season 1 cutscene is an interesting one, as it shows fans some New Operators and confirm why they are fighting. At the beginning of the scene, Butcher is seen piloting the plane before it was hit by a bullet. Task Force Trident then jumped out of the plane, performing the mission while Butcher flew to safety.

The Taskforce Trident is made up of three brand new Operators, which were leaked about a week ago. They landed New Caldera map, complete the mission before going to rescue Butcher. However, their plane was completely gone, so Trident was basically stuck on Call of Duty: Warzonethe map of. While on the beach where he crashed, Carver came across a bunker hidden in the sand. When he warns that “the world will never be ready” for his findings, he steps down the ladder and closes the lid.

With the Iron Cross on the bunker lid, and Butcher mentions that the quest is to find Secrets of the Nazis, it can only be assumed that the Nazis had some terrible plan to destroy the world. What that plan is remains to be seen, but based on previous narrative formats, players can see intro and side stories for each Season – all of which expand upon the story. Seasonal events may also occur every few Seasons, with objectives possibly related to what’s happening in the ongoing storyline.

With satisfying previous stories Call of Duty: Warzone fan, hope Call of Duty: Vanguard arcs do the same. Season 1 kicks off on December 8, so players will soon be exploring Caldera for some info.
