Warzone fans pay tribute to Verdansk in final hours
In the wake of Call of Duty: Warzone With the launch of Pacific, fans greeted Verdansk with creative tributes to its final moments online.
A new map is finally here – Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific launched on December 8, surprising fans with an early release. After two long years of fighting it on Verdansk, Battlefield finally brought a new land to explore and fight – Caldera.
No less interesting when the new debut took place, many fans were surprised that Verdansk was removed. Caldera is a big change to the game, one of the biggest changes the game has on its map to date. After the total overhaul, fans began to reminisce about their time on Verdansk.

A FINAL STORY TO FINALLY CALL OF MISSION: WARZONE‘S VERDANSK
Posted mainly on r / CallofDuty subreddit, Battlefield players have come together to share their best moments on the map. Through a combination of group photos, dramatic and poetic photographs, Battlefield fans have ended an era.
Most fans posted their tributes as screenshots in memory of Verdansk and their team. However, Redditor Radeon-11693 created a complete music video parody of Taio Cruz’s “Dynamite”. Combining fun team clips and well-timed animations, their videos truly represent the joy of playing Battlefield.
Also, one fan has really taken it to the next level, writing a poem on the old map. In “Ode to Verdansk,” Redditor Liam_Foster4 delivers their final goodbye. From heartfelt thanks to keeping players entertained during quarantine to favorite drop-offs, the poem has its moving and hilarious parts. They expressed both excitement and sadness at Caldera’s launch, ending with a complete bittersweet “Press the F key to show respect”.
And, finally, some players posted selfies of the classic lineup to celebrate their favorite landing spots. With prison in the background, these players posed for selfies with heart tattoos, representing a sweet moment in between. Battlefield chaos.
From the multitude of team photos online, it’s clear that nearly every major location on the map has special meaning for some players. Each group has a sure-win strategy and favorite spots to drop. It just shows the sheer strategic possibilities in Verdansk, and is a true testament to the design of the map.
