Warriors vs. Suns: Live, watch online, TV channels, predictions, odds, NBA match odds, odds

Game of the Year nominees are, by design, rare. After all, the best teams can only play against each other so many times, like no NBA team play together more than four times during the entire regular season. That’s what makes this week such a rare and precious thing for the league. The two strongest teams in the NBA – 18-2 Golden Empire Warriors and 17-3 Phoenix Suns – don’t just play together once. Between now and Friday, they will face off twice.

The first of those two fights is on Tuesday night, when Phoenix will mark 16 wins at its home ground when those Warriors arrive in town. A short two-day hiatus will come before their rematch on Friday, and when the dust settles we’ll not only have a new favorite for the Western Conference crown, but perhaps NBA so is the title. This will be only the fifth game in NBA history where the teams have a combined win percentage of 0.875. per ESPN, and was the first tournament in league history where both teams won more than 85% of their games and had at least seven wins. This is how you can immerse yourself in the clash of giants.

Featured game | Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors

Sun: Phoenix had a rare atmosphere with this winning streak. Beating 16 opponents in a row is nothing to scoff at, but exiting this two-game set with the Warriors is what will put the Suns on the path to a truly historic streak. One more win would break their franchise’s record of consecutive wins; they can set a new mark if they reach 18 years old in a row.

If Phoenix wins both meetings along with Piston mid-game, it would become the eighth team in NBA history to win 19 in a row. From there, the schedule will ease a bit, as the Suns won’t be playing another game against an opponent currently in the top three of their conference until… their Christmas day with the Warriors.

In other words, passing Golden State would give the Suns a chance to achieve one of the great winning streaks in NBA history. The warriors know all about those things. It was they who were the last team to win at least 20 in a row when they did so to start the 2015-16 season. They had 24 consecutive goals that season, 28 if you count the 4 games they won at the end of the previous campaign. Phoenix isn’t quite in that territory yet, but beating the Warriors twice this week should start the conversation.

Warriors: The Suns are chasing NBA history. The Warriors are pursuing their own history. They have won 90% of their games so far this season. Winning 90% of their games over the course of a season would give them a record of around 74-8. Such regular-season dominance seems unlikely as recently as a few years ago. The Warriors 2015-16 showed us something else with the incredible 73-9 season. So far, no one has really entertained the possibility that they can hit that record this season. Two wins over the Suns could change that.

The Warriors know how difficult it is to maintain such dominance over an entire regular season. It takes more than playing brilliantly. It also requires near-perfect health and luck. There’s no guarantee that the Warriors will get it either. They don’t even have the health ingredient with Klay Thompson still outside. After their experience in the 2016 knockouts, they may not even want to go down in regular season history. But every marker of regular season dominance suggests that these Warriors are more than your average November appearance. They completely knocked out their opponent with a real score of 13.6. They fell deeper than the 2015-16 generation and ranked higher in defense. The comparison between the two Warriors teams is still unfair. In a few days, they can be.

Prediction, Choice

This could be a cop out, but don’t think too much about this. Warriors and Suns play twice this week. Each team is allowed to host the other organization once. At the level at which these teams are playing, both will likely be favored in their own buildings. Neither has shown any obvious weakness during the season for the other to exploit in this setting, and both will likely need tapes from these battles to find holes they can exploit. exploits in post-season games. For now, just bring the home team and enjoy the ride.
