War For Wakanda adds 7-8 hours of story content to Marvel’s Avengers

To be fair Square Enix’s Marvel’s Avengers had a rough time since its release last year, but the developer Crystal Dynamics hopes to bring back PC players with the upcoming War For Wakanda expansion – which looks to be around 7-8 hours of gameplay, the biggest DLC for a Marvel game.

Although the successful debut made Avengers one of the best selling games of 2020 – not to mention being released alongside the hugely successful Marvel Cinematic Universe – Preliminary launch of the game and has lacked regular content updates since then.

However, one thing most players rave about about Marvel’s Avengers is next month’s War For Wakanda expansion and story campaign adding a huge amount of single player/co-op content to that story – this is especially welcome after disappointing short Hawkeye expansion. Based on Weekly entertainment (through Marvel’s Avengers Update) the expansion will bring the game’s total story content to approximately 25 hours.

Based on How long to beat? – which I can confirm is approximate – Marvel’s main Avengers campaign is about 11.5 hours long, with two Hawkeye extensions ‘Operations’ running around four and two hours each. Therefore, War For Wakanda should have about 7.5 hours of story content – this will be free, random.

Square Enix also revealed that Christopher Judge – known as Kratos in Sony’s God of War franchise – will voice Black Panther, T’Challa, the first actor to play the role since his notable departure. sad Chadwick Boseman in last year’s movie.

For Avengers, Square Enix keep rolling out updates – Dress up Some are more welcome than others – although the publisher clearly hopes that the Black Panther expansion will bring players back into the game. Who knows, they might even forget the truth that Spider-Man will not appear on the PC or Xbox versions – and hasn’t appeared yet.
