Walmart announces PS5, Xbox Series X restore in store
Walmart announced plans to offer a range of additional products in-store for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch OLED consoles.
While the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X are both over a year old at this point, it’s still extremely difficult for consumers to actually get their hands on the next generation of consoles. Walmart already one of the biggest retailers when it comes to PS5 and Xbox Series X re-stocks, but because of the pandemic and customer safety, it has had to primarily sell consoles online. That will change later this month, because Walmart is gearing up for in-store additions to the major PS5 and Xbox Series X.
Saturday, December 11 will see some Walmart stores in the US selling PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles in-store. This is a great opportunity for gamers who want a PS5 or Xbox Series X and are tired of fighting bots online to get their own console. However, it should be noted that not every Walmart will participate in the recovery. It’s worth noting that the PS5 and Xbox Series X won’t be the only new consoles Walmart will have in stock on December 11.
