Walking Dead reveals new characters, cast, final season premiere date

Like Zombie Entering the final season, it has one last chance to adapt the characters and plot from Robert Kirkman and Tony Moore’s graphic novel series and let them interact with the already complicated lives of the survivors we’ve known onscreen for nearly 12 years. For those familiar with the source material that means going to The Commonwealth. And while the 2021 San Diego Comic-Con panel for Zombie didn’t reveal too much about how or when The Commonwealth will join the final season of the AMC series, but it did give comic readers an idea of what new characters they can expect. is seen from the page on the screen.
At the beginning of the year, the actor Michael James Shaw cast as Mercer, a director of the Commonwealth. “This experience has been a joy,” Shaw said of the council. “[As an] A clumsy kid who loves to read comics, being in the shoes of a really cool comic book character is just a dream. ”
During SDCC’s brief discussion, host Angela Kang also announced three new cast members for the final season. Laila Robbins (Boys) will play Pamela Milton, another key figure from the Commonwealth arc in Zombie comic. In fact, she is the Governor of the Commonwealth, and one of the last villains in the whole series.
Ritchie Coster (Flight attendant) is participating with an unnamed role. His character may be associated with the Commonwealth, but he could also be one of the Reapers – the villainous group that followed Maggie at the end of season 10. Kang teased that the Reapers were killers.” skilled before the apocalypse” and “organized extremely brutal warrior,” is truly terrifying.
Particularly tantalizing is the news that Josh Hamilton (Eighth grade) will play Commonwealth administrator Lance Hornsby from the comics. Monopoly SDCC TWD Summary gave fans their first look at the character Hamilton through some classic video scenes that will be reminiscent of Maxwell Lord (Pedro Pascal) in the series. Wonder Woman 1984. Whatever the deal version of this character, it’s already very compelling. However, while his unhelpful and smiling demeanor in the trailer makes it look like he’s ready to ZombieThe newest charismatic villain, that doesn’t have to be. If the character is like in the comic, he is in a leadership position, but he is not to be in charge of or whatever is worse is not adjustable. Playable, possible.

Kang also mentioned that Margot Bingham (She’s Gotta Have It), the voice we heard when Stephanie talked to Eugene over the radio for a while, will join the series in a larger capacity. But Kang curiously didn’t call her Stephanie – she went her way to Not actually who Bingham was playing with. It might just be an attempt to protect fans from vandals, but it’s fun. Josh McDermitt also talked about how Eugene’s trust in Stephanie could be fractured after he sent a team to find her and soldiers (presumably from The Commonwealth) split and imprisoned them. end of season 10. Any hope for a romance between the two characters would be free of conflict.
Those two characters aren’t the only ones in an “awkward” place, according to moderator Chris Hardwick, as we pick in the final installment. Carol and Daryl had a pretty big fight, and maybe things are still working out. Yumiko and the Princess will be an exciting new dynamic to watch. “Yumiko is very organized,” said Eleanor Matsuura, who plays Miko, “she leads a lot with her head. And the Princess is all the heart”. They find a sisterhood in that balance. And of course, the tension between Maggie and Negan was “all season,” according to Lauren Cohan. “If there is a certain feeling,” she said, “we can spend some time on that feeling.”
Zombie will be broken in the final season, and that means big emotions just like Big Bads. Kang concluded the panel by saying not what was going to happen, but how all the actors made her feel. How many of them made her cry. How they dazzled her, made her laugh, made her gasp, or whatever when you were “ohhhh sh*t” – that sentence was dedicated to Cohan as Maggie. The fact that exciting new characters are being added to this rich, vivid fantasy world is just the icing on the cake.
The last season of Zombie will launch on AMC on August 22 and will be available to stream soon starting August 15 on AMC Plus.
